Eddie Almazan, sous chef at The Landing, celebrated his first anniversary with us on May 9, and we are excited to honor him with the third quarter CHRIST Promises Award. To say Eddie has a servant heart would be an understatement. Eddie is always the first person in line to help others, both at work and outside. He has stepped up and stepped in where needed, always with a smile on his face.
Eddie is known for his outstanding work ethic and a contagious positive personality. Working with him means you are guaranteed to laugh during the shift. If you ever need a connection, Eddie probably knows a guy. His dedication to hard work, positivity, and helping others is what makes him special. These qualities are rare and haven’t gone unnoticed.
Just a little personal information on Eddie: he came to Lincoln in 2004 and has been busy ever since! He also works at The Corner Bar and runs a lawn care and restoration business. Eddie’s mother resides in Mexico, and he is one of four children. His dad ran a funeral home in Mexico before he passed away.
Eddie received eight nominations for this award. They mentioned his willingness to help, his thinking of others before himself, his willingness to go above and beyond, his kindness even when stressed, and his effort to make everyone feel welcome.
