Immanuel Choir

Celebrate music with Immanuel’s choirs

Immanuel offers residents a variety of musical opportunities across its senior living communities, including vocal and chime choirs. These resident music programs perform at special community events and at renowned venues such as the Holland Center for Performing Arts in Omaha. Open to all residents, the program celebrates the timeless joy of music while fostering self‑expression, connection, and well‑being.

Social drumming

Using rhythm to promote health and well-being

Social drumming brings residents together, no musical experience required. With easy‑to‑follow rhythms, the program gets minds engaged and often sparks happy memories along the way. Led by skilled facilitators and offered in partnership with Adventures in Social Development, social drumming creates a sense of fun and inclusivity by uniting residents and employees to make great music together.

The Immanuel Explorers provide exciting yearly travel experiences, inviting residents from all Immanuel communities to partake in adventures across the nation. Whether it's exploring the lively culture of Branson or delving into the rich history of San Antonio, from experiencing the energy of Las Vegas to setting sail on an Alaskan cruise, these journeys foster lasting connections and cherished memories.

Recreational Therapy

Immanuel’s recreation therapists take time to understand the individual needs of long‑term care residents and PACE® participants. Using evidence‑based recreation therapy programs, they help support independence, engagement, and overall quality of life.
