The Landing announces its quarterly CHRIST Promises Award recipient
October 2, 2026
Kirby Howerter, Assistant Retirement Living Consultant, was recently named The Landing’s first quarter CHRIST Promises Award recipient. Kirby brings a thoughtful presence to our community. She has strengthened our welcome process by sharing detailed information about new residents so our team can greet people with confidence and care before they even arrive. She finds ways to make team members feel appreciated — including decorating offices for birthdays.
Kirby attends resident gatherings and events whenever she’s able, bringing both a friendly presence and an extra set of hands for the team. She keeps close ties with her family, staying connected with her siblings and showing up for their big life moments. She’s not only a doting mom to her dog Remi and her cats Pumpkin and Opie, but also a proud and supportive aunt. She always shows up for the people she loves.
Outside of work, she regularly finds ways to give back through volunteer work, including coaching girls’ volleyball and volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association. Her creativity shows up in fun ways too — she’s our go-to gal for balloon arches, wreaths, and picking out cute porch goose outfits.
Kirby is also an Inspire Awards nominee, and it’s easy to see why. She leads with heart and genuine love for people, and we’re grateful to honor her with the CHRIST Promises Award.
