Immanuel Vision Foundation awards $3.2M to support community services
July 8, 2025
Each year, the Immanuel Vision Foundation supports local nonprofit organizations that focus on seniors and community health. It also supports ELCA congregations, affiliated agencies, and institutions.
From July 2024 through June 2025, the foundation awarded an incredible 76 grants totaling more than $3.2 million to organizations across Nebraska and Iowa.
From advancing aging-in-place programs to expanding access to mental health care and essential resources, these grants empower organizations whose missions align with Immanuel’s values of Christ-centered service to seniors, each other, and the community.
“Our grant recipients are doing incredible work to meet the evolving needs of older adults and underserved populations,” said Emily Tonniges, Executive Director of Immanuel Foundations. “Through these partnerships, we’re able to extend Immanuel’s mission far beyond our campuses and help build healthier, stronger communities.”
