    Lakeside's Green Team holds donation drive for glasses, hearing aids

    August 7, 2026
    Lakeside residents and staff donated 61 eyeglasses and hearing aids to the Lions Club Recycle for Sight Program.

    Lakeside's Green Team collected an assortment of hearing aids and 61 eyeglasses donated by our residents for the Lions Club Recycle for Sight Program. Glasses are checked for prescriptions, cleaned, and sorted, then placed in a standard case with the Lions Club logo. Most of the glasses go to Africa and other third-world countries.
