Emily Leonard is Lakeside's CHRIST Promises Award recipient for the third quarter.
Since joining the Lakeside campus in July 2022, Emily has been a fantastic addition to the community and embodies our CHRIST Promises each and every day. Emily demonstrates and exemplifies our CHRIST Promises each time she is in the community – especially through her interactions, service, and relationships with others. She
According to her peers and nomination forms, Emily consistently displays a positive attitude and demeanor. Whether walking down the hall or serving a resident, she is always kind and friendly. She is compassionate in listening to and responding to the residents' needs.
She is often called upon to work in other areas of the community and does so without complaint, always has a smile on her face. She previously served as an assistant dining room manager, and she still helps with those responsibilities. Emily takes the time to work with new employees and enjoys taking on extra responsibilities, displaying her qualities as a team player and leader within the community. The residents greatly appreciate her and all that she does.
According to another nomination form, Emily is a great asset to the dining department and is always happy to jump in and assist when needed. She is always willing to pick up extra shifts to help her team. The residents regularly comment on how friendly and kind she is and how much she loves her job. Residents have come to depend on Emily for their needs and a warm smile.
Lakeside is lucky to have such a caring and helpful individual. Emily’s service to others is exemplary. Emily is an employee who proudly embodies our CHRIST Promises daily. Emily truly makes Lakeside a better place to live and work.
