Throughout the month of July, Lakeside’s Green Team proudly partnered with the Westside Lions Club to collect eyeglasses and hearing aids for those in need. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the drive was a resounding success!
Total donations collected:
- 149 pairs of eyeglasses
- 24 pairs of sunglasses
- 5 sets of hearing aids
When we shared the final count with the Lions Club, they were thrilled by the turnout. Each pair of glasses will be carefully checked for prescription accuracy, cleaned, and sorted. Once ready, they’ll be placed in standardized cases featuring the Lions Club logo.
These donations will soon make their way to Africa and other underserved regions around the world, helping individuals gain access to clearer vision and improved hearing – resources that can dramatically enhance quality of life.
