Grand Lodge celebrates Just Culture Great Catch Award winners

Congratulations to Lanea DeBaets and Sabrina Powell, recipients of Grand Lodge’s Just Culture Great Catch Award!

Lanea demonstrated outstanding situational awareness when she noticed a resident appeared confused. She safely assisted the resident back to her apartment and immediately alerted the nurse. Thanks to her quick thinking and prompt action, it was determined that the resident was experiencing a medical emergency, and the resident received immediate care.

Sabrina was recognized for her exceptional observation skills and dedication to resident well-being. Although she has been part of our team for only a short time, she noticed that a resident was not acting like herself and quickly contacted the Assisted Living team. Through teamwork and collaboration, the resident was sent for medical evaluation and treatment. The resident's family expressed immense gratitude for Sabrina's attentiveness and attention to detail.

Lanea and Sabrina embody the values of vigilance, teamwork, and compassionate care that make our community exceptional. Thank you both for your commitment to resident safety and for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Your actions are a wonderful example of our Just Culture in action!
