The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has us all on high alert with additional proactive precautions at Immanuel for those we serve, including social distancing practices. Social distancing is one of the safest things we can do to stop the spread of this virus, but spending time alone is quite a change for Immanuel residents and participants.
That’s where we need your help!
We’re thrilled to offer an opportunity for you to connect with seniors in our community who need you the most. Through our Virtual Connection Drive, we’re collecting virtual supportive messages, letters, children’s drawings and more to share with Immanuel residents and participants.
.
Examples of things to share:
- Supportive notes
- Inspirational stories
- Letters of encouragement
- Photos, drawings or artwork crafted by children
- Positive quotes
- Bible verses
Simply email your virtual connection to: virtuallyconnected@Immanuel.com (if you’d like your message to go to a specific Immanuel community, please note that in the subject line of your email).
We are grateful for the outpouring of love and encouragement from our employees, families and the local community to support residents and participants during this time of social distancing.
We’ve seen the greater community come together to do amazing things. Let’s all come together now in support of our seniors!
