Immanuel is proud to announce that four of its communities have been recognized with the 2026 Silver Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
The award-winning communities include:
- Copper Shores Village – Pleasant Hill, Iowa
- Deerfield – Urbandale, Iowa
- Grand Lodge – Lincoln, Nebraska
- The Landing – Lincoln, Nebraska
This national honor reflects the high-quality care, safe environments, and exceptional resident experiences delivered by the teams at each community.
For Immanuel, quality means putting residents first. Through compassionate care, strong safety practices and dedicated service, teams at these communities help residents grow and age in dignity, safety, and wellness.

The Silver Award is the second level of AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program, one of the long-term care profession’s most respected quality initiatives. Organizations that earn this distinction don't settle for the status quo. They continually assess their performance and make improvements that benefit residents, families, and employees.
This year’s Silver Award class is particularly noteworthy. AHCA/NCAL announced a record 255 recipients across 43 states, making it the largest class in the program’s 30-year history. Since its inception in 1996, the National Quality Award Program has helped more than 8,000 providers strengthen operations, improve care, and enhance quality of life for those they serve.
Achieving the Silver Award is an important milestone on the quality journey. Communities must first earn the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award before advancing to the Silver level. They then complete an in-depth evaluation that examines how they track performance, make improvements, and continually find new ways to better serve residents, families, and employees.
The recognition also highlights the dedication of employees who consistently look for ways to enhance the resident experience. Their efforts help create communities where safety remains a top priority and where residents can thrive while receiving the support and care they need.
As Silver Award recipients, The Landing, Grand Lodge, Deerfield, and Copper Shores Village are now eligible to pursue the Gold Excellence in Quality Award. The Gold Award is the highest distinction within the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The communities will be recognized alongside other award recipients at the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, taking place in October in Boston, Massachusetts.
This achievement belongs to the many employees, residents, and leaders who help make these communities special.
