Education Assistance

Supporting your professional growth

Your career growth matters at Immanuel. Our Continuing Education Assistance Program (ICEAP) supports full‑time employees with funding for approved courses, certifications, and degree programs. As a nonprofit, Immanuel also qualifies you for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), which may eliminate remaining Direct Loan balances after 120 qualifying payments. These benefits expand your learning opportunities and strengthen long‑term financial well‑being.

Continuing Education Assistance Program

Continuing education assistance is a benefit that supports employees in furthering their professional development by providing financial aid and resources for additional education and training. This assistance can cover costs such as:

  • Tuition
  • Helping employees enhance their skills
  • Advance in their careers
  • Stay current in their field

By investing in continuing education, organizations empower their workforce to grow and adapt, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the company.

As part of the Immanuel family, your continued personal development is extremely important to us. We strive to continue to grow as an organization and continued employee development is a key element to that growth. Education assistance is one avenue to provide this ongoing development. The Continuing Education Assistance Program will provide up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year for tuition, fees, and registration expenses.

Individual courses must be part of a continuing education and developmental program. This does not include the cost of books or late and penalty fees. To be eligible, employees must have six months of service with Immanuel and be at least .7 FTE (scheduled 28 hours a week). Documented covered expenses will be paid to the employee upon approval of the course or certification (on the next paycheck).

Public Student Loan Forgiveness program

Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) is a federal program that can eliminate the remaining balance on your Direct student loans after 120 monthly (10 years) qualifying payments.

As a nonprofit organization, Immanuel meets the PSLF employer requirements, meaning full‑time team members are eligible to participate. It’s another way Immanuel supports your financial well‑being while you grow your career in service to others.
