Honoring those who go above and beyond is a focus for our leadership teams at Immanuel. Our employment and benefit programs build a culture where every voice is heard, where employees are given the tools to be prepared in their work and at the same time, encouraged to grow and develop new passions. Because at the heart of it all, our people are what makes Immanuel different.
Immanuel Awards of Excellence honors those employees who truly live our mission of Christ-Centered Service to Seniors, Each Other and the Community, and bring it to life through our six CHRIST Promises.
Our Christ-centered mission calls us to genuinely care and love one another; allowing us to share in other’s joys and sorrows.
Alyssa Haldeman, Grand Lodge
The Compassion Award is given to a team member who genuinely cares about the residents/participants they serve as well as their fellow teammates. They demonstrate love, empathy, kindness and the ability to share in the joys and sorrows of others.
Alyssa is a ray of sunshine! She comes to work with a smile on her face every day. Her goal is to always ensure the safety and happiness of the residents. While it is in her nature to go above and beyond all the time, she has had many moments that make her stand out. She has taken time to show residents how to crochet, made personalized necklaces for residents and given gifts to brighten many days.
Alyssa has a huge heart and is a walking advertisement for compassion at Immanuel.
We hold a deep regard for the dignity of each person; expressing gratitude for all that has been created by and is in the image of God.
Christ-centered love is acted out in our daily relationships where we give listening ears to hear, caring hands to touch, and loving eyes to behold each person as a child of God.
We uphold the trust people place in us by remaining faithful to our mission; accountable for honest, ethical and responsible behaviors.
We desire to model Jesus’ example of service. Jesus modeled and described serving as “the one who is greatest among you shall be your servant.” We embrace an attitude of serving by giving of ourselves to contribute to the well-being of others.
We intentionally work together using our God-given talents to achieve our mission.
