Fall at Yankee Hill Village means one thing...pumpkin crafts.
Yankee Hill Village residents engaged in socially distanced creative expression through a horticultural art project. Real pumpkins were generously donated and these small pumpkins came straight from the family farm in Iowa! The beautiful greenery and floral displays were grown locally in the courtyards at Yankee Hill Village. Residents picked their style of greenery and attached them to their pumpkins with glue before sealing each centerpiece for long-lasting fall beauty.
Did you know that engagement with horticulture promotes increased relaxation and cultivates feelings of hopefulness? Sounds like it’s time to get outside!
