Yankee Hill Village is proud to announce that Zoe Smith is our CHRIST Promises Award recipient for the first quarter of this fiscal year. Zoe is a care partner who exemplifies just what that title means. Zoe was nominated by two of her teammates, who said the following about her:
Zoe demonstrates the CHRIST Promise to serve each and every day. She always has a positive attitude while serving our residents here at YHV, and she cares for our residents with the utmost compassion. A meaningful example was the care Zoe recently provided to one of our residents and her family during the resident's final days. Zoe’s compassion was deeply meaningful to the resident, her son, and her daughter-in-law during this very difficult time.
In addition, Zoe brings service with a smile every time! She greatly impacts both residents and fellow staff by coming to work with a positive attitude and genuinely caring about them, which makes a world of difference. And one of Zoe’s nominators, who has worked elsewhere in senior living, said, “That’s what sets Yankee Hill Village apart from some of the other retirement communities. Zoe greatly contributes to that! And our residents and their families also notice and greatly appreciate that too!”
In addition, Zoe really demonstrates our value of teamwork. She has been helpful to fellow staff members on many occasions when a staff member was assisting another resident and was unavailable to help someone. Zoe quickly jumps in to answer and assist in doing whatever is needed. Zoe is a wonderful teammate and a great asset to Yankee Hill Village. She also has a great attitude and is enjoyable to work with, bringing such positivity to work.
