Katie Wulkow, a dietitian at Immanuel Pathways of Central Iowa, has been named PCI's CHRIST Promises Award recipient for her compassionate car and service to participants.
Katie takes the time to truly know the people she serves, understanding their food preferences, dietary needs and personal histories. She is known for ensuring participants have access to nutritious meals and resources, often helping connect those facing food insecurity with additional support.
Katie's impact extends beyond participant care. She is a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, collaborates to solve challenges and supports participants at multiple locations while consistently delivering exceptional service. She also leads by example, stepping into hands-on roles when needed, including helping prepare meals to ensure participants' needs are met.
Through her dedication to participants, teammates and Immanuel's mission, Katie embodies the CHRIST Promises each day and makes a meaningful difference across the communities she serves.
