The recipient of Trinity Village’s quarterly CHRIST Promises Award is a fixture in the community. She’s often the first voice that people hear when they call the office, and she’s the first person they meet when they come in. And the entire community is better for it.
When it comes to “chaos coordination”, there is none better than Maria Zubrod. Every single one of her nominators used the word “helpful.” Maria is “always helpful.” She’s “always helping out.” Behind these observations is a deeper plea that comes to her regularly: “HELP!” Whether it’s a staff member or someone who needs something, Maria is the person folks immediately and naturally turn to for help.
We are so fortunate that she is at Trinity. (We did lose her for about a year, but that dang “blue Kool-Aid” is enticing). Thanks, Maria, for drinking it so deeply. And thank you for all that you do for the residents and the Trinity Village team.
And, in spite of the fact that she has her own plateful of work to do, she always pauses, offers a smile, and stops to help. Even when it means that “our quick question” will require multiple phone calls and emails to answer, Maria is on it. Her heart is for our residents, and she does whatever it takes to make sure that the rest of us have what we need to do our jobs well.
