The Deerfield bean bag baseball team wrapped up an incredible season by claiming the Bean Bag Baseball World Series title, outperforming 19 other teams from across central Iowa! This marks Deerfield’s second championship win, and the team proudly brought home a trophy to celebrate their achievement.
Bean bag baseball is a lively four-inning game where players toss bean bags at a specialized board to score hits – singles, doubles, and more – and rack up runs.
To honor the team’s hard work and teamwork, our life enrichment staff hosted a festive celebration with cake and popcorn for all residents. Players received custom certificates, team photos, and commemorative “World Series Champion” coasters as keepsakes of their victory.
