Camden Hjermstad, a server at The Landing, has been recognized by the Immanuel Culinary Leadership Team for exemplifying extraordinary hospitality.
Here is the story:
A resident's wife, who is a guest, has a medical condition that requires her to use special silverware. Her husband always makes sure to bring the silverware when having her over for dinner (including at the reserve meal). Camden, being the outstanding server that he is, hand-washed her silverware when he noticed she wouldn't have a clean utensil for dessert and brought them back to the table with her dessert.
Camden is a great worker for both residents and his peers. The resident mentioned that no one had ever done this for his wife before, and how much it meant to him that Camden had noticed and given enough care to ensure she had a smooth and equal time at dinner.
