Immanuel is proud to announce that we have been recognized as one of Nebraska’s Safest Companies for the 25th year in a row by the Nebraska Chapter of the National Safety Council. This safety award highlights Immanuel’s workplace safety, employee well-being, and industry-leading safety programs.
Among 128 other companies across the state, Immanuel stood out for its exceptional safety record and dedication to maintaining a culture of safety excellence. This long-standing recognition reinforces Immanuel’s position as a leader in retirement living and senior care in Nebraska.
“Winning a Nebraska’s Safest Company Award clearly illustrates a company’s commitment to ensuring that their team members return home safely to their families at the end of each workday,” said Eric Koeppe, President & CEO of the Nebraska Chapter of the National Safety Council.
To earn the Nebraska’s Safest Companies designation, organizations must be active members of the Nebraska Safety Council and complete a rigorous application process. This includes submitting detailed injury and incident data, along with a comprehensive Safety Program Evaluation Scorecard that measures the effectiveness of internal safety initiatives.
All applications are reviewed confidentially and compared against industry benchmarks and similarly sized organizations. Regardless of company size or sector, safety performance is the key metric. Immanuel’s safety record is more than 50% better than the national average for its industry classification, thanks to its proactive safety culture and robust training programs.
“Safety is not just a priority, it’s a core value at Immanuel,” said Julie Kaminski, Immanuel's Chief Operating Officer. “This recognition reflects the hard work and vigilance of every team member who ensures our communities and PACE® centers remain safe, secure, and supportive environments for residents, participants and staff alike.”
